St. Botanica Moroccan Argan Hair Growth Oil: Review

In this era of globalisation and hectic schedules, we often neglect ourselves and cry over the damage caused by the same. Time and again, nature has proved its importance over other things in this world to benefit us. Hair oil is basically hair food. Remember the times when it was our custom to get our hair oiled for better growth? This is what is being revitalised nowadays. People are looking for a natural hair oil that has the least traces of harmful chemicals for nurturing hair. Nature has again proven to be the best nurturer and quite surprisingly last week I was given St Botanica Moroccan Argan Hair Oil (for which I'm thankful ) to test and do a quick  honest review. The first thing that strikes my mind is the oh-so-smooth consistency of this hair oil. Having a ton of essential oils like Castor oil, Jojoba oil, sweet Almond oil, Olive oil, Grapeseed oil, Avocado oil, Rosemary oil, Tulsi oil, Teatree oil and the rich goodness of Vitamin E, extracts of Amla, Bhrin...

The Beauty And Magnificence of Old-Age

Why do we use the phrase "fine as wine" ? Maturation is a process that is believed to come with ageing in most of the cases. The only thing can possibly negate years of wisdom visible in the form of greyed hair and wrinkled skin is probably nothing but the anti-ageing creams that are forcibly thrown at our face. After all, phrases like "Old is Gold" have not rooted themselves perfectly into our vernacular. According to Pew Research Centre, only 3% of U.S. Citizens foresee the possibility of inventing a time machine that would gear their journey backwards. The rest asserted their happiness in living at the present moment yet we are quite often bombarded with anti-ageing creams and hair colour potions that guarantee maximum coverage against greyed hair. Such irony, isn't it? In a country where sexism rages on full force, it is quite obvious that creams and lotions to 'cure' old-age will only be directed for women. This is the case, undoubtedly. Old-...

How It Feels To Be An Old-Soul

There are a number of things that transcend the domain of expression and understanding. Embedded deep in our psyche, our inner thoughts and most precious memories surface at the most unexpected moments. Some stay exuberant and peppy even at the age of 50 and some achieve the mental age of 50 even before attaining 21. A number of sources claim them to be "old-souls",souls that are intensely inclined towards soul-stirring aspects of life. The word "old-soul" has been associated with me since childhood. Be it on my parent-teacher meeting when my mother dismissed all the allegations against me saying that "She is matured, you know. She will manage that" or the occasions when my roommate would call me "grandma" due to my worldly wisdom, I have often been convinced of my old-soul. Relationships In this era of casual dating and open relationships, I have realised why relationship has another definition for me. Not in a cafe or dazzli...
